Feeling Better and Pissed Off!

Ok, so I feel better.  Not normal, but able to function.

And I'm pissed off!  Why is this happening to me?  I didn't do anything wrong! I've tried to live my life as a good person!  I'm really mad this is what I have to go through! I know others have it worse - but so many people don't have cancer and don't have to go through chemo and surgery, etc. - so why me???

I'm really mad now that I've had some time to think about it all.  I don't deserve this!!!

  1. Liebe Heidi, good you feel better! And yes, you did not do anything wrong! Breast cancer is a change of the DNA in one single cell. There are certain risk factors which make this change more likely. But eventually it's more like a freak accident.
Please don't feel I want to lecture you! Try to use your energy to imagine a healthy future!
    Alles Gute!

  4. Heidi, I would be angry too, I think. One good thing about anger is the energy in it. It shows a little of the great reserve of strength you have.

  5. You have every right to get angry, Heidi. Life's dealt you a mighty blow. But I know you can cope. Grammy

  6. Hi Heidi: You have not had a lot of time to just concentrate on you between this news and moving and all the newness you are experiencing. Just remember...God doesn't sit and try to decide who to send cancer to each day. Instead, he sends us wonderful "angels" in the form of people who lift us up, care for us, and stay with us through our hard times. I will be there for you also. Take the time to grieve this, but also use your great strength to enable you to see that you are a great person to whom something has happened, but also to whom will come healing and wholeness. Hold that thought tight!
